The COVID pandemic was not easy for any of us. It was especially hard for people who lived on the fringes of the system and society. While providing some of our less fortunate brothers and sisters with food and clothing, we saw the truly dreadful conditions some of them live in. We realised that providing them with basic necessities in times of need is a stop gap solution at best. The long term solution is to provide them with the tools to lift themselves out of these abject conditions. We believed the best and long term solution was the education of the children in these families. Again, thanks to the selfless service of our volunteers we were able to canvass our ideas to the people who agreed with our message.
